User Agreement and Privacy Policy

Account Creation and Security

Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep your sign-in credentials confidential, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized account use.

You are responsible for activity under your account. We may disable or delete accounts that violate this Agreement or create a security, legal, or operational risk.

CME Courses and Completion

Course offerings are designed to support NCCAA Category I CME requirements. You remain responsible for confirming that a course satisfies the requirements that apply to your individual certification cycle.

After successful completion, an eligible learner may download a course certificate. You are responsible for submitting the certificate and any required documentation to the NCCAA or another applicable credentialing body.

Fees and Payments

Course fees are shown before purchase and must be paid in full. Payments are processed by Stripe. CME for CAAs LLC does not store full payment-card numbers.

All sales are final. Refunds are granted only under exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion.

Intellectual Property

The site, course materials, text, graphics, branding, and other content are owned by CME for CAAs LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use purchased course materials only for personal, noncommercial educational purposes. You may not copy, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
• Share an account or allow another person to complete coursework in your name.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to an account, system, or data.
• Interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every course will satisfy every learner’s individual requirements, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a credentialing body will accept a submission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CME for CAAs LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

Modifications to the Agreement

We may update this Agreement to reflect changes in the service, law, or our practices. Updates become effective when posted with a revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Agreement.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• Identity, account, and contact information, such as your name and email address.
• Course enrollment, progress, quiz, completion, and certificate information.
• Order, billing, and transaction details, excluding full payment-card numbers.
• Internet Protocol address, device, browser, and operational log information.
• Messages and other information you provide when requesting support.

How and Why We Use Information

We use personal information to:

• Create and manage accounts, enrollments, coursework, and certificates.
• Process payments, maintain order records, and respond to support requests.
• Send service-related and transactional communications.
• Protect accounts, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, and operate the platform.
• Meet legal, accounting, accreditation, and recordkeeping obligations.

Payments

Stripe processes payment information for course purchases. Payment-card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are not stored by CME for CAAs LLC. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy terms.

Service Providers and Disclosures

We use service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate the service. The production platform uses Google and Firebase services for hosting, authentication, Data Connect with managed Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run; Stripe for payments; and Postmark for transactional email.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or third-party marketing.

International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain course and certificate records, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held.

Cookies and Technical Data

The service uses essential cookies and similar technologies for account sessions, authentication, security, and core operation. The approved launch configuration does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent choices will be updated before activation.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections and access restrictions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information; opt out of certain uses; or appeal a decision about a privacy request. These rights are subject to identity verification, applicable law, and lawful exceptions.

Children’s Privacy

This professional education service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.

External Links

The service may link to websites or services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and CME for CAAs LLC is not responsible for those external practices.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or our practices. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective or last-updated date and any additional notice required by law.
